Based on Caere Corporations's award-winning OmniPage technology, OCR Shop accurately and easily converts paper documents and images into editable text for use in any other application. OCR Shop puts powerful OCR at your fingertips. Improve your accuracy by taking advantage of grayscale information with 3D OCR(TM), train OCR to recognize special characters, and retain text and graphics in their original layout with True Page(TM) technology.

The OCR Shop GUIs (graphical user interfaces) combine one click OCR, convenient process customization and an automatic progress indicator in an easy-to-use Motif graphical user interface. OCR Shop saves text in over 150 file formats. With specially-tailored device drivers and interfaces for more than 40 scanners, OCR Shop delivers high quality results every single time.

Accuracy is ensured with OCR Shop's exclusive Quadratic Neural Network(TM) (QNN) technology, an enhancement to the OmniPage OCR engine. Language Analyst(TM) increases word accuracy by studying a wide variety of data, including dictionaries and trigrams. And the new Page Parser(TM) improves recognition by clearly differentiating between text, graphics and stray marks.
